This madcap comedy is non-stop laughter as you watch a “just met” couple hold onto the reigns of romance with the help of a lot of crazy company! DRACULA: Mark of the Vampire
This reimagined classic is perfect for all blood types. A delicious blend of mystery and horror, this intimate theater experience will be like no other as you experience the terrifying Count Dracula! WORDS & MUSIC - The Songs of Hallett & Robinson
This exciting new musical celebrates life, love, and laughter through various vignettes performed by a talented cast of four. With music by award winning Maine composer Aaron Robinson and Lyrics by Suzy Hallett, this Footlights Theatre premiere features memorable songs such as "Hello, Old Friend", "Love Found Me", "Quiet Christmas", and the celebrated anthem: "Wondering Why". HUMBUG! A Spirited Christmas Carol Gone Wrong

Set in the 1940s, a touring company of misfit performers get snowbound in a small town they're supposed to perform “A Christmas Carol” in. With half the cast missing and a mismatch collection of costumes, props, and set pieces, they attempt to perform the Dickens classic- even though off-stage shenanigans make it hilariously difficult. Full o humor, heart, and Christmas cheer, this hit holiday comedy will capture your inner humbug and fill you with the Christmas spirit! (Thursdays 7pm, Fridays 7:30pm, Saturdays & Sundays 2pm)

LOVE BEYOND TIME
Based on the short story, A Love Letter, by Jack Finney, a modern-day book writer and an 1892 socialite, begin developing a romance so powerful that it, literally, transcends time. Encouraged by some, deterred by others, they must find a way to meet before their ability to connect across time is irrevocably broken. Will their love be as hopeless as the years that separate them, or will these letters change their future forever?

WE’RE SENDING YOU TO THE NUNS: A Campy Comedy Thriller
Award-winning playwright, Phillip George, premieres his campy comedy thriller at the Footlights Theatre! Aging Hollywood Star, Vivian Vane, sends her pregnant and unwed stepdaughter, Diana, to a home for unwed mothers run by a secretive Convent of Carmelite Nuns.   While there, she and her equally pregnant best friend Becky unwittingly unleash and battle an ancient pagan fertility Goddess who is out for blood. This wicked spoof is both a celebration of 1960's b-movie horror films and a tribute to the ferocious power of Motherhood. (Thursdays 7pm, Fridays 7:30pm, Saturdays 2pm & 7:30pm)

CHARLOTTE’S WEB: A ‘Radiant’ New Musical
Based on the E. B. White book, this timeless family classic captures the magic of the ‘terrific’ piglet Wilbur, trying to make his way in the world, and Charlotte, the wise and winsome spider who becomes his best friend. Watch the feisty Fern, Templeton the rat, and all their farmyard friends get caught up in Charlotte’s Web as Footlights Theatre spins this timeless story onto the stage! This exciting, hilarious, and heartwarming new musical features a great score, special effects, puppetry, and special surprises for the whole family as it spins it’s tale in the hearts of young and old alike.

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS: A 1960’s Musical Tribute
Celebrate life and music of the 1960’s as we transform the Footlights Theatre into a hippie haven. You’ll dig this jukebox score of classic hit 60’s songs sung by an explosive cast of singers!  We will bring the sights, sounds, and experiences of the far out, but turbulent 1960’s to our stage. So, join us for this groovy love-in that will transport all you flower children back to the Summer of Love!  (A 4 Week Run! Thursdays 7pm, Fridays 7:30pm, Saturdays 2pm & 7:30pm)

We celebrate National Coming Out Day (October 11th) with this poignant and dramatic play about a transgender woman who transitions in her 70s after living a lifetime as a man. When she comes “out” to her family and best friend, an explosive rollercoaster of unexpected emotion brings a shocking conclusion. The play is about secrets finally told and lies being revealed... it's about love... and how far one goes (or doesn't go) “to thine own self be true”. Starring Charlene Kennedy. A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Join the ghosts of Jacob Marley, Christmas past, present, and future as they lead the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on a life changing journey. Full of immersive special effects and music, this hauntingly unique production captures the magic and joy of the Dickens holiday classic like you’ve never experienced it before. Starring Michael J. Perfect for Valentines, this hilarious hit comedy has been given a makeover and now it’s funnier than ever!  Cupid’s Arrow is about finding online love, realizing you can meet, date, and break up with someone without ever leaving the comforts of your home! It's a whole lot of uproarious misunderstandings with comical consequences and a happy ending, of course! (Thursday 7pm, Friday 7:30pm, Saturday 2pm & 7:30pm)

FROM PEN TO PAPER TO STAGE: Three Maine Playwrights. Three One Acts.
Chalmers Hardenbergh, Richard Alleman, and Nancy Peavy bring a thought-provoking playbill of original works to the Footlights Theatre. Each script will be performed by a talented cast of Maine actors and will be followed with a talkback to share your thoughts with the playwrights. Don’t miss this very special weekend of new plays.
