Award-winning Maine humorist, Susan Poulin, returns to Footlights Theatre in "Makin’ Whoopie! Ida LeClair’s Guide to Love and Marriage". This funny fun comedy will play Tuesday nights from July 2nd through the 30th at 7pm. $20 All Seats... Is your “happily ever after” in need of a little fine tuning? Ida to the rescue! The funniest woman in Maine returns with a show plumb-chucka-full of hilarious stories and down-home advice on how to keep your marriage sweet, simple and easy. Well, she is a Certified Maine Life Guide, after all.
In Makin’ Whoopie!, Ida tackles the big questions like, “What does a whoopie pie and marriage have in common?” “How do I get my sexy back?” and “You want me to do what with your ashes?” Get the inside scoop on senior tattoos, staycation do’s and don’ts, and the latest adventures of the Woman Who Run with the Moose. As Ida says, “Charlie and me have been married for over forty years. That don’t make me an expert. But it certainly gives me a lot to talk about!”

Closing our “Intimately Yours” Concert Series on Tuesday, August 27th, 7pm, will be Maine's own JUD CASWELL - Photographs & Memories - Croce’s Greatest Songs. $20 All Seats.
Join us for a night of music celebrating the legendary Jim Croce, presented by Jud Caswell. Cry along with “Time in a Bottle” and “Operator (That’s Not the Way it Feels)” and stomp your feet to “Bad Bad Leroy Brown.” We’ll be visiting “Rapid Roy (The Stock Car Boy)” and the “Roller Derby Queen,” and flipping through our “Photographs & Memories.” Singing along isn’t required, but we’re not sure how you could know and love these tunes and not want to!
Jud Caswell is an award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing in his native state of Maine and beyond for more than 25 years. In 2006 he made a splash on the national scene, winning the legendary Kerrville New Folk competition. He’s had his songs taught at Berklee, recorded by Judy Collins, and named “#4 Song of the Decade” by New York’s WFUV. His record “Live at the Seagull Shop” was the number 1 album on the Folk Alliance International radio charts in March of 2020. Jud is currently releasing a series of albums of music that he recorded during the early months of the pandemic.
